Our Art Resale Service

At Art & Photo Archive (APA), providing customers with positive experiences of owning art is very important to us. It is at the heart of who we are; it is apparent in our people and in our service and is particularly important for the art communities we want to develop throughout the world.

We would like to help as many people as possible to enjoy their newly-bought art from us at home or in the office with confidence – regardless of whether the art is new or second-hand. Our philosophy embraces this focus on the enjoyment of art. Through our service, we try to ensure that customers are 100% comfortable with their art selection and buying experience with us.

If customers want to sell their art after buying it from us, the matter of how long they have enjoyed it is of no consequence to us; we are happy to place the piece of art back on our website to resell it for you. We will gain inquiries for the seller and, as art dealers, professionally communicate with new customers for the sale of the art – at a $0 service fee.

If the art is sold to a new owner, delivery of the parcel to the new customer will be managed by Art & Photo Archive (APA) at a reasonable handling fee (approx. 10-20% of the price of the art). After deducting the handling fee, the remaining amount will be clearly transferred to the previous owner's bank account in 5-7 working days once the sale has been finalised.

The condition of the artwork the customer desires to sell is important for setting the resale price; however, the average resale price is around 70%, which is an excellent deal for the previous owners to think of in terms of both their investment and the time they had for enjoying their art.

The point of our resale service is to show appreciation to our customers, artists, and beautiful arts and local community for being our customers, for buying artworks from us, for having an interest in art, and for continuing with us as potential customers. We are passionate about helping as many people as possible to enjoy their art.
