* About photography, Unjusa 1993 by Young Sub Kim:

Young Sub Kim is one of the well-known photographers in South Korea, and his collection is all about humans who try to find themselves in different and mixed feelings. This collection of work was taken in Unjusa, or Unju Temple is a Korean Buddhist temple located in Hwasun County, South Jeolla province, South Korea. It is 26 km southwest of Hwasun County or 40 km south of Gwangju. Compared with other temples in South Korea, this temple has an unusual collection of stone Buddha statues and stone pagodas, so Unjusa is often referred to as the mysterious temple.

*Photo Auction's Gelatin Silver Print is the high-quality photographic process used with currently available black-and-white films and printing papers. A suspension of silver salts in gelatin is smeared onto a supporting foundation of glass, flexible plastic or film, baryta paper, or resin-coated paper.
